About us...

In 2017 we attended a "try clay" class at Good Dirt pottery studio in Athens, Georgia, and we were instantly drawn to the challenges and possibilities of working with clay. After taking part in several instructional classes, we were hooked. In 2019, after spending nearly thirty years in Athens, we moved to Ochlocknee in southwest Georgia to manage our family's pomegranate and fuyu persimmon orchard. In order to satisfy our desire to create pottery we converted an old workshop, that had been built by Cheryl's father in the 1970's, into a well-equipped and functional pottery studio.

Starting in 2020 we began selling our pottery via word of mouth. While our sales numbers were modest, we marveled at how personally rewarding it was to have satisfied customers who recommended us to others. That method of marketing sustained our drive to continue to improve and become better artists.

While we are committed to satisfying our customers we are also committed to helping make our community a better place, thus we enthusiastically donate 10% of our annual sales to food banks and help agencies in our area.
